WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE
The Human Resources (HR) role in Saudi Arabia is a critical function that contributes to the success of Ornua Al Wazeen Plan. This role will be managing the various aspects of employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labour laws and regulations for all plan-based employees. The HR professional plays a vital role in creating a positive work environment, fostering employee engagement, and supporting the growth and well-being of the employees
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Onboarding:
- Support new hires onboarding process for Saudi
- Regular in touch with new hires to provide all the required support for an initial period (30 days)
- Day-one introduction to the entire leadership team and arrange a site visit
- Run day - one induction program
- Ensure to obtain feedback from the hiring manager throughout probation period time. If there are any concerning issues, share them with the internal HR team to plan the next action
Employee Relations:
- Maintain a positive work environment and handle employee grievances (Level 1)
- Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees
- Ensure adherence to company policies and local labor laws in conjunction with International HRBP
- Provide support and guidance to employees regarding HR-related matters
Monthly Payroll:
- Prepare and process monthly payroll for all employees.
- Verify attendance, overtime, leave records, and other payroll inputs.
- Ensure compliance with GOSI, WPS (Wage Protection System), and Saudi labor regulations.
- Prepare salary slips and payroll reports.
- Handle employee queries related to salaries, deductions, and benefits.
HR Administration, Medical Insurance & MIS:
- Maintaining physical and digital personnel records e.g. employment contracts, emergency numbers
- Keep abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations to ensure 100% compliance
- Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, contractor’s agencies, GRO, accommodation and HRDF in conjunction with International HRBP
- Prepare Job Descriptions and align them with Iqamas in conjunction with Line Managers
- Manage to get All employees Medical Cards, Medical Insurance and Medical Checks in conjunction with H&S
- Follow up on Employee’s compensation for accidents (e.g. Visit Hospital and GOSI)
- Provide all the required support related to health insurance to all the employees based in Saudi
- Work with the vendor for yearly insurance renewal and timely closure in conjunction with Finance
- Inform Insurance vendor to update their records on new hire and leavers on real time basis
Employee Engagement and Culture:
- Implement monthly initiatives to enhance employee engagement and motivation in conjunction with the leadership team
- Responsible for monthly Reward & Recognition execution exercise in conjunction with site leadership
- Employee connect as per the requirement and share the feedback
Recruitment:
- Publish and remove job ads in conjunction with Dublin Talent Acquisition team
- Schedule job interviews and contact candidates as needed in conjunction with Dublin Talent Acquisition team
Exit:
- Conduct an Exit Interview and share the same with the business with your findings
- Support finance with EOS calculation
- Infor HR team on the status to update Bloom/PeopleDoc
Government Relations work:
- Handle visa issuance, renewals, cancellations, and Iqama processing for employees.
- Manage GOSI registrations, updates, and monthly submissions.
- Liaise with ministries (MOL, MOFA, MOI) for company and employee-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with Saudization and other labor law requirements.
- Manage portal activities: Muqeem, Qiwa, Absher, and Baladi.
- Maintain accurate employee records and government documentation.
- Support in company license renewals and municipality-related services.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven work experience in HR roles, preferably in Saudi Arabia
- Knowledge of Saudi labour laws and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in Arabic and English is required
- Ability to sit as part of, and contribute to, wider site Leadership Team
- Knowledge of Saudi labor and immigration laws.
