This Accuntant will form an integral part of the team responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate finance function within the AWT Business. He/She will have a strong handle on the financial matters of AWT, leading and supporting in costing and financial accounting.

There will be a strong focus on Business Partnering,  Financial Planning and Analysis, business modelling, forecasting and risk assessments, determining factors affecting performance and managing accounting practices across the organization.

 

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

  1. Financial Reporting & Control
  • Responsibility for accurate and timely, monthly PL with detailed variance analysis v Budget
  • Monthly flash preparation and analysis v Budget
  • Clear and concise presentation of monthly results to Senior Leadership
  • Production of monthly Customer PL analysis
  1. Finance Business Partnering
  • Become a valued and integral member of the overall Foods business with the production of value add insights and analysis which help shape and drive the overall MEA International Strategy
  1. Forecasting and Budgeting
  • Preparation of monthly Forward Book and review with Business leads
  • Support preparation of detailed quarterly forecast (3+9, 6+6 and 9+3) throughout the year
  • Support annual budget process for the region.
  1. Other
  • Assist with monthly forecast preparation and submission to FCCS
  • Control A&P spend and ensure Balance Sheet accruals are accurate
  • Maintain monthly financial records for local office
    • Prepare any credit notes to be submitted against customer accounts.
    • Support sales team in tracking of accounts receivable
    • Ad hoc requests as they arise to support the commercial team & Finance SLT

 

  1. Compliance
    • Support local tax and legal compliance
    • Support Internal Audit issue and risk resolution
    • VAT returns bi-monthly via SARS

 

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Saudi National only
  • Based in KSA
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in ERP systems.
  • Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and controls, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly reports, evaluating volume and financial performance with a focus on KPI variances.
  • Development and effectively communicate essential business drivers to relevant departments.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting as required by the business, maintaining control over planning throughout the cycle to delivery.
  • Provide support for financial controls and statutory accounts closure.
  • Ensure a continued culture of continuous improvement and strong team collaboration within the finance teams.
  • Drive innovative process efficiencies, enhancing reporting capabilities and data insights.
  • Present data clearly and concisely, fostering collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
  • Input planning data into various models, optimize inventory and demand projections
  • Cashflow management.
  • Degree in Finance/Accounting
  • Part qualified in Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or similar).
  • A team player with the ability to lead, coach, and develop teams across AWT.
  • Effective planning, coordination, and prioritization skills.
