WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE

 

 

The Shift Co-ordinator will have responsibility for supporting the production shift manager and shift team with all production activities to ensure delivery of business KPIs. 

 

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

  • Responsible for supporting the Production Shift Manager and the Shift Team with all the shift team’s day to day production activities and in the delivery of associated KPIs
  • Direct responsibility for the accurate and timely upkeep of all shift related documentation and administrative tasks in line with the business needs. Including but not limited to:
    • Ensure payroll is completed and signed off weekly.
    • Resource planning: Co-ordinate the resource and holiday plan and overtime planning accuracy
    • Training versatility matrix updates and scheduling of training to meet requirements.
    • Reporting & analysing production performance & metrics.
    • Factory & Supplier non-conformance follow ups & close-outs.
    • Weekly Manufacturing Orders & materials consolidation
  • Facilitate pre-shift meetings / shift handovers, completion of shift reports.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and appropriate usage of Redzone for shift team.
  • Ensure all MO’s and stock are managed through the production process correctly and in line with FIFO
  • ERP & OEE systems SME
  • Support OpEx activities with shift and site teams.
  • Support warehouse and supply chain administrative activities on shift as required.
  • Support safety, quality, & environmental activities on shift as required.
