Are you an experienced OPEX Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to influence as part of the Senior Leadership Team of Ireland’s first 1-billion-euro food brand?  

 

Ornua is actively seeking an Operational Excellence Manager to join our Kerrygold Park business, in Mitchelstown, Cork. This is a great time to join our business after a huge investment and expansion of our state of the art factory to ensure that the right skills and practices are in place as we look to drive efficiency, quality, and best practise. 

You will work with a range of stakeholders to ensure that there is a consistency of approach, and the teams see the benefit and value of driving forward a programme of change and continuous improvement.

Why This Role Is Valuable: 

The Operational Excellence Manager will apply project management techniques in driving a structured approach to optimise site process improvements for increased productivity, quality & waste reduction. The role will identify and drive operational process improvement initiatives in line with best practice Operational Excellence methodologies. 

 

What You Bring To The Role: 

 

  • Proven experience in leading Continuous Improvement teams.

  • Lean Six Sigma black belt qualification or equivalent. 

  • Power BI or other data analytics experience (e.g., Tableau).  

  • Confident to liaise at all levels, articulate with good presentation skills.
