Ornua is actively seeking an organised, detail orientated and proactive individual to join our operations department as we continue our growth trajectory.
The Operations Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and complaint, maintenance, and evolution of products within the business. This role bridges the gap between product development, supply chain, and operational compliance, ensuring that all product-related processes are executed efficiently, accurately, and in line with company standards. The Operations Coordinator will create a culture of continuous improvement and supports better ways of working across the site.

Why This Role Is Valuable:
As our Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for leading on;
- Keep up to date product costings ensuring cost models reflect current operational conditions
- Keep up to date operational KPIs, trackers and systems
- Ensure adherence to internal and external compliance standards across all operational processes
- Coordinate the completion and submission of new line forms and ensure these are completed within a timely manner
- Manage the product change requests system from an operations perspective
- Conduct regular audits of operational processes and build a tiered process confirmation system within the management structure
- Act as the system owner for key operational platforms (GEMBA)
- Support trials to ensure operational processes are understood throughout new product development
- Work with team members to implement small-scale changes that improve efficiency, reduce waste, or solve operational problems.
- Participate in improvement workshops and team meetings, capturing actions and following up as needed.
- Help gather and report performance data to support decision-making and project tracking.
What You Bring To The Role:
- A strong interest in learning about Continuous Improvement and improving processes.
- Experience in manufacturing / operations setting
- Good communication and teamwork skills – able to work with different departments and build relationships.
- Comfortable working with data – experience with Excel is essential and experience with BI is an advantage.
- Eagerness to grow and develop skills in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
