Job Title: Production Operatives (Nights)

Reports to: Zone Leader

Location: Leek, Staffordshire, United Kingdom

Hours: Sunday - Friday 10pm - 6am (Fixed Nights)

Salary: Starting at £14.10 per hour

 

A Day in The Life of a Production Operative

As a production operative, you will work within a team in the factory to ensure the efficient production of our products. Your key requirements include:

  • Assist Zone Leaders to set up the production lines in accordance with requirements.
  • Be responsible for carefully and efficiently packing a variety of cheese products for distribution.
  • Monitor the production line to ensure products are of the best quality standards.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain your workstation in line with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Ensure that any issues that arise are promptly and accurately reported to the Zone Leader

Key requirements:

  • Reliability, punctuality, and consistency are essential to enable you to work effectively as a team member.
  • A willingness to learn, share knowledge and develop.
  • Adaptability and flexibility as you may be required to work in different areas of the factory, as well as perform other reasonable tasks.
  • A willingness to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
  • Good verbal, written and numerical skills.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be given to ensure you can be your best.
