Job Title:                    Production Materials Administrator

Reports to:                MES Controller

Location:                    Ornua Foods UK, Sunnyhills Rd, Leek

Salary:                        Up to £25,000 per annu dependent on skills and experience. 

Hours:                         Monday to Friday rotating shifts 08.00 to 16.00 / 16.00 to Midnight

Ornua Ingredients is responsible for the procurement of Irish and non-Irish dairy products and for the sale of dairy ingredients to food manufacturing and foodservice customers across the world. Ornua Ingredients is also responsible for managing volatility through de-risking and trading strategies. The business is supported by production facilities in Saudi Arabia, Spain, the UK, the US and by in-market teams in Africa and the Middle East.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Engage with the Teams in the Factory (incl Manufacturing Services and Technical) to grow the understanding around Manufacturing Orders
  • Closing all Manufacturing orders -timely and accurately
  • Investigating Manufacturing orders where there is a variance out of tolerance
  • M3 system superuser - able to support their shift to problem solve issues - (full training will be provided)
  • Manufacturing Execution System product editor and expert - (full training will be provided)
  • Engage with the teams to better understand the issues related to Manufacturing Execution System
  • Process product change requests and new product set up forms (includes engaging with other areas of the business)
  • Weekly Reporting and Ad Hoc reports
