Reports to:                         ICT Business Engagement Lead

Location:                            Ornua Foods UK Ltd, Sunnyhills Road, Leek, ST13 5SP

Hours:                              Hours:                                Monday – Friday, 08:45 – 17:00, 36.25 hours per week, Flexibility is required to meet with the demands of the business

Salary:                                £45,000 to £50,000 per annum - depending on experience

Ornua Ingredients is responsible for the procurement of Irish and non-Irish dairy products and for the sale of dairy ingredients to food manufacturing and foodservice customers across the world.  Ornua Ingredients is also responsible for managing volatility through de-risking and trading strategies. The business is supported by production facilities in Saudi Arabia, Spain, the UK, the US and by in-market teams in Africa and the Middle East.

The role:

 

We require an experienced ERP Business Support Analyst to provide ongoing support to the business and associated core technologies at our manufacturing facility in Leek.  Working with the ICT Business Engagement (ERP) Lead, you will be self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and analytical skills to help drive efficiency and leverage value from new and existing business applications.

 

 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

 

  • Document, log and triage support calls, resolving issues where there is a local solution; escalating to the global support teams where necessary to achieve a timely resolution.
  • Design, update and execute reports including ad hoc requirements.  
  • Provide day to day support of core IT business systems.
  • Monitoring of ERP process flows to ensure the efficient use of the system in line with agreed procedures and the timely completion of transactions.
  • Investigation and analysis of system related issues alongside business key users.
  • Provide end user training on ERP system and associated processes.
  • Support ad hoc tasks and projects where necessary.

 

 

Key requirements

 

  • Knowledge and experience of supporting, developing and implementing ERP systems, ideally M3 13x. Training will be provided on M3 where needed.
  • Educated to a degree level preferable or proven / relevant IT experience required.
  • Analytical ability to comprehend and understand process issues.
  • Ability to quickly draw conclusions and solve problems.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing system processes and associated technologies.
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business.
