Warehouse Clerk (Warehouse Finished Goods Inventory Clerk)
M-TH 6am-4pm - some flexibility on start/end times required.
Role Overview:
The individual’s key role is to ensure Finished Goods inventory accuracy across all product types in a professional manner, which includes computer system knowledge, data entry, assisting in coordinating cycle and yearend inventory counts. This role will support the Warehouse Supervisor in a professional manner.
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
Principal Duties as Warehouse Inventory Clerk:
1. Perform monthly finished goods inventory verifications with inventory clerk.
2. Perform daily cycle counting on finished goods.
3. Fill customer orders according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
4. Use manual pallet jack and forklift as needed.
5. Provide support for employees and customer inquiries on inventory.
6. Update daily reports of inventory for use by management.
7. Manages shipments and associated inventories between Ornua and outside warehouses.
8. Supports customer service/logistics, special projects as requested.
9. Comply with all regulatory agencies, HACCP, GMP, and other industry requirements.
10. Ensure that products processed for shipping are delegated to correct courier.
11. Arranging finished products using LIFO or FIFO methodology.
12. Moving short-dated finished product into inactive inventory.
13. Documenting daily inactive inventory.
14. Flexibility to work weekends or overtime as needed.
15. Assist in other areas as needed and perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Must be in good work standing with excellent attendance to be considered for this role.
2. Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment with inventory knowledge.
3. Associate’s Degree a plus.
4. Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer orders, inventory reports, operating procedures to ensure documents are audited and accurate. Ability to generate reports and business correspondence.
5. Excellent computer skills with advanced experience in Microsoft Office and specialized inventory control software programs preferred.
6. Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
7. Ability to represent company in an upbeat and professional manner.
8. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written.
9. Must have strong attention to detail.
10. Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
11. Must be self-motivated, dependable, and a team player.
