WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE
MES Production Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring product safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This role will ensure accurate data entry and material coordination to support uninterrupted production while upholding the highest standards of quality and traceability. Your contributions will strengthen our operations, support our culture of continuous improvement, and help Ornua deliver high-quality products enjoyed by consumers around the world.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle all MES-related data capturing with accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform basic MES troubleshooting: missing entries, incorrect data, user errors, or system prompts.
- Act as the liaison between the production team and the warehouse team to coordinate raw material replenishment.
- Comply with all regulatory agencies, HACCP, GMP, and other industry requirements.
- Assist in other areas as needed and perform any other duties as assigned.
- Use manual pallet jack and forklift as needed.
- Assist in daily housekeeping and maintenance of department.
- Understand the safety culture and strive for 100% compliance concerning safety observations.
- Consistent attendance and performance
- Adhere to all Company and Departmental procedures.
- Follow all Safety, Food Safety, GMP and HACCP practices.
- Be flexible with regards to working in any other positions in production as needed.
- Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the efficient operation of the department.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
- Experience working with traceability requirements and raw material lot tracking.
- 2+ years working experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and traceability standards
- Fluency in English required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This role requires regular standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 60 pounds. Employees must be able to perform repetitive motions and safely operate equipment while following all safety and quality procedures.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a food manufacturing facility with variable temperatures — cooler warehouse areas and warmer production zones. The environment includes exposure to moving equipment, moderate to loud noise levels, and required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, hearing protection, gloves, and hairnets.
