Role Profile

The role will be based in Hilbert facility reporting directly to the Finance Director, Ornua Ingredients North America.  He/she will manage the Finance Business Services team consisting of four finance staff colleagues.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage the Business Services team consisting of four team members.
  • Manage all weekly and KPI reporting for Hilbert and Byron productions sites.
  • Lead investigation into any variances arising from weekly P&L reviews and provide insight/ inputs into operations finance reporting packs.
  • Manage commercial sales costing process for the OINA business.
  • Manage & control inventory reporting, reconciliations and movements.
  • To provide leadership to the Operations Finance Team, managing day to day, weekly and monthly commitments.
  • Business Partner to the S&OP process within OINA, ensuring excellent communication, constructive challenge and support as required.
  • Communicate results and trends to Operations and the wider business through appropriate methods, seeking to develop financial understanding of non-finance colleagues.
  • Responsible for monitoring & challenging spend on all Operational costs to budget/forecast as required.
  • Support Finance Director to deliver all Budget & Forecasting requirements for Operations business unit ensuring accuracy, efficiency and meeting business deadlines.
  • Maintain good working relationships with Commercial teams to understand impact of commercial plans across Operations business unit.
  • Support for Local Master Data if and when required e.g. change control and finance costings.
  • Holiday cover for key operation finance tasks within team as required.
  • Support Finance Director with projects or other requirements as needed.

 

Key Requirements

 

  • Must be a qualified Accountant with a minimum Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years’ experience managing & developing finance staff in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lead and drive change.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Team player, flexible and ability to manage a varied workload.
  • Strong IT skills, specifically Excel, ERP platform experience.
  • Knowledge gained in relevant fast-moving consumer goods or food industry.
  • Highly motivated and dynamic.
