Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Analyst is an entry level position that is responsible for Accounts Receivable transactions for all Ornua Ingredients North America (OINA) locations.  They will ensure that all transactions are recorded and reported in a timely fashion. This position also serves as a liaison for all customer service-related inquiries and has daily communication with internal and external departmental peers.

       

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, process, and disseminate invoices.
  • Accessing company banking information to report on the cash received each day and reporting those findings to management within the company.
  • Analyze GL accounts for accurate posting.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely cash posting of accounts receivable balances.
  • Analyzing and reconciling customer accounts daily in Microsoft Dynamics SL to ensure timely payment.
  • Follow up on short payments and any other missing or unresolved payment issues.
  • Post credit memos to customer accounts and provide proper and timely notification.
  • Act as the point of contact for all customer questions pertaining to Accounts Receivable information.
  • Collaborate with various departments to determine freight rates and problem solve as any issues may arise.
  • Provide back-up to other accounting department duties.
  • Other duties as assigned based on business needs.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Associate degree preferred.
