role summary


The Senior ICT (Information, Communications, Technology) ERP Analyst has responsibility for the design, development and delivery of business solutions using multiple applications contained within the Global ICT landscape. The successful candidate will  design, build, test, deploy and support business solutions which meet business and technical requirements.


The Senior ICT ERP Analyst will operate within the Ornua ICT ERP team centralised in Dublin, Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the ICT product management of manufacturing and quality applications within our Global ERP platform (Infor M3).  The successful candidate will also own and lead out on the maintenance and deployment of the Ornua Manufacturing and Quality operating model (ERP deployment and adoption of new ways of working across each of our commercial, manufacturing sites and warehouses).  


The Senior ICT ERP Analyst will also engage with business leads, Global process owners and business analysts to develop business requirements and translate these into technical deliverables across Ornua group. This is an ideal role for a technical and data orientated individual who enjoys strong business engagement and rapidly designing and developing innovative solutions to solve business challenges.

key areas of responsibility


  • Take ICT ownership and drive the delivery of manufacturing and quality projects through their entire project lifecycle, including gathering of business requirements, solution and technical design, testing and post implementation support.
  • Engage with business leads and business analysts to develop a deep understanding of business requirements and imperatives then translate these requirements into technical deliverables and plans which meet business needs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot queries/issues that arise and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Support and provide guidance to business stakeholders when application issues are raised to ERP / ICT Competency Centre.
  • Ensure that manufacturing and quality ICT solutions are designed and maintained to meet business requirements while also following the agreed Global governance processes.
  • Manage and drive third party and vendor engagement to surrounding design, delivery and support of Ornua Global applications.
  • Training development and delivery to business and ICT teams.
  • Develop excellent working relationships with the ICT Global teams and ensuring that solutions are architected consistently and in line with relevant ICT application design principles.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and redesign and develop ICT solution proposals to address these opportunities.






key requirements


  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems or a similar field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in similar manufacturing and/or quality management applications system analyst or senior developer role.
  • Significant experience with manufacturing and/or quality management enterprise applications – processes, data requirements, planning, integrations and related core ERP functions.
  • Awareness of the other ERP modules e.g. purchasing, sales, master data management, finance, supply chain etc.
  • Hands on experience with configuration and/or development with manufacturing, warehouse management, supply chain and / or manufacturing scheduling applications and tools.
  • ERP application functional configuration experience with Infor M3 or similar ERP application would be a distinct advantage.
  • Technical competence in enterprise report development, data analytics tools, BI, ETL, SQL or equivalent relationship database query language.
  • Experience in the provision of training to key users would be an advantage.
  • High level of integrity, passion, self-motivation and analytical skills. Flexible attitude and willingness to travel.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Languages: Fluency in English; secondary language is preferable but not required
