If so, Ornua is actively seeking a Procurement Category Manager to join our Corporate Procurement team based in our head office in Dublin city centre.

Why This Role Is Valuable:

The Procurement Category Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the co-packing, packaging and non-dairy ingredients category within Ornua's global supply chain. This role will involve strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive value and innovation in co-manufacturing partnerships.

The successful candidate will implement best practices in areas such as cost management, supplier relationship management, and category strategy development and execution.

You will be responsible for the development of a forward looking, living Category Strategy aligned with the overall procurement and business plan. 

What You Bring To The Role:

• 5 years + procurement experience as a Category Manager
• Dairy industry / FMCG industry experience is desirable
• Excellent stakeholder management experience
• Proven procurement category management skills, ideally with a deep knowledge in co-packing and packaging
•  Previous experience leveraging e-procurement tools planning and leading RFI and RFP’s, e-Auctions.
•  Excellent negotiation and conflict management skills with the ability to resolve issues at all levels of management.
