The Group is structured across two divisions: Ornua Foods and Ornua Ingredients.

Ornua Foods is responsible for the marketing and sales of Ornua’s consumer brands including Kerrygold, Dubliner, Pilgrims Choice, Forto and BEO. Markets are served by production facilities and in-market sales and marketing teams in Africa, Asia, Germany, Ireland, the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East and the US.

Ornua Ingredients is responsible for the procurement of Irish and non-Irish dairy products and for the sale of dairy ingredients to food manufacturing and foodservice customers across the world. Ornua Ingredients is also responsible for managing volatility through de-risking and trading strategies. The business is supported by production facilities in Saudi Arabia, Spain, the UK, the US and by in-market teams in Africa and the Middle East.

Master data management is the core process used to manage, centralize, organize, categorize, localize, synchronize master data according to an organisations strategy.     Master Data is  the foundation on which transactions are executed and is the core data that is essential to operations in a specific business or business unit. This can be data about customers, material, vendors, suppliers and much more. 


This role is a 6 month fixed term contract.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance & governance of all Business Local & Global Master Data to ensure adherence with Ornua Global Master Data standards
  • Support/resolve day-to-day Local & Global Master Data technical or system related issues.
  • Point of contact for Local Master Data with business stakeholders, as required for projects & business changes.
  • Continuous improvement of Local Master data own processes and related systems, to ensure efficient and accurate ways of working
  • Review of Master Data related business processes and workflows, ensuring they meet the needs of the business effectively & engaging with stakeholders to steer changes as needed.
  • Development of value-adding reporting, corrections as needed and communication to of changes where relevant.
  • Review and update training documentation & process notes for all Local Master Data processes, to enable cover of key tasks if required and provision of future training.

Key Requirements and Competencies:

  • Highly competent in the use of MS Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience in data management related role desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge and experience of supporting ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Analytical ability to comprehend and understand process issues
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, supply chain or financial system processes an advantage.
  • Experience within a diverse, fast moving environment.
