Are you an experienced Supply & Demand Planning Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to coordinate supply and demand planning on a global basis for one of Ireland’s most successful food companies?

Ornua is actively seeking a Supply & Demand Planning Manager on a 12 month interim basis to work alongside leadership teams globally across the organisation on both tactical actions that drive our near-term business performance, and wider commercial initiatives that will impact our long-term future.

Why This Role Is Valuable: 

The Supply & Demand Planning Manager will work with leadership teams across the organisation to set priorities and shape an integrated business planning process that meets the needs of all stakeholders.

You will identify opportunities, through collaboration with stakeholders and the use of commercial and market insights, to optimise group wide planning to leverage the scale and capabilities of Ornua to maximise customer satisfaction and the commercial performance of each business unit.

What You Bring To The Role: 

• Strong commercial, planning and analysis background.
• Ability to solve complex, cross-functional business problems while dealing with challenging deadlines and opposing priorities.
• Strong Leadership skills
• Analytical expert with financial acumen/experience; commercial sales and/or purchasing knowledge also highly desirable, with a strong understanding of planning/forecasting.
• Flexible and adaptable to manage the varying demands of a fast-moving business.
• An understanding of the wider dairy and international trading landscape and Ornua’s role within it.
• In-depth product and commercial knowledge across Ornua’s primary dairy categories of butter, powder, cheese would be a distinct advantage.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Negotiation and relationship management skills at all levels of management.
