Ornua Ingredients is responsible for the procurement of Irish and non-Irish dairy products and for the sale of dairy ingredients to food manufacturing and foodservice customers across the world.  Ornua Ingredients is also responsible for managing volatility through de-risking and trading strategies. The business is supported by production facilities in Saudi Arabia, Spain, the UK, the US and by in-market teams in Africa and the Middle East.

Job Summary

 

As a senior member of the Solutions Delivery team, you will be responsible for all aspects of end user computing management from developing roadmaps, patch life cycle management, device performance and User adoption of OS and Microsoft Office enhancements.

The successful candidates will work closely with Service Delivery team on endpoint problem management and Security team to ensure all end user devices are compliant with security policies.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Exceptional Technical skills in EUC specialist areas – OS Build and deployment management, application delivery and patch lifecycle management.
  • Thorough understanding and extensive experience of Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Microsoft Windows, Group Policy, end user devices, MDM and other related technologies.
  • Build annual roadmap to deliver excellent end user computing experience.
  • Device compliance and performance reporting.
  • Develop user adoption programs for OS and Office Desktop enhancements.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience in an End User Computing Specialist role.
  • Excellent knowledge of SCCM and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) for Windows and Mobile devices.
  • Strong AD GPO and Windows skills.
  • Technical proficiency and hands-on experience in testing and deploying Windows OS, application updates and security patches is required.
  • Exposure to Azure Virtual Desktop with hands-on experience an advantage.
  • Proven commitment to continuous technical development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to clearly communicate technical issues to a non-technical audience.
  • Understanding of project delivery and service delivery methodology.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of engineering excellence and improving organisation efficiency.
  • Microsoft certification is an advantage.
