The Role 

A newly created role to drive change leadership across Ornua. The role-holder will  partner with Leaders to embed Ornua’s new operating model and to successfully lead and navigate their teams through the associated change. The Head of Change Leadership will drive a culture of change leadership and capability across our organisation, enabling the successful delivery of the Transforming for Growth business strategy.  

 

Key Areas of Responsibility 

  • Creates a Change Leadership centre of excellence at Ornua to embed the new operating model and enable the delivery of the Transforming for Growth business strategy.  

  • Builds strong relationships with all key stakeholders: Executive Team, divisional and business unit Leadership Teams, HR and Communications colleagues,  

  • Designs and delivers appropriate change leadership and team development interventions to enhance capability across Ornua, to further embed our new operating model and ways of working.  

  • Works in partnership with HR colleagues on business unit/team specific organisation change to ensure a smooth transition to new organisation/team structure, ways of working etc.  

  • Defines business communications and stakeholder engagement activities, collaborating with the Group Communications team and site Communications Leads as required. 

  • Creates a network of Change Champions across the organisation, who are equipped with the skills to identify when change expertise and leadership is required to guide Leaders and their teams through significant change.  

  • Coaches Leaders in relation to their approach and consideration of change issues, ensuring that they understand the impact of these on the individual, team and the business. 

  • Develops key milestones and detailed plans for Change Management, including Communications, Development and Business Readiness plans.  

  • Leads Change Management workshops and documents outputs and actions, as required.   

  • A member of the HR Senior Leadership Team, with responsibility for the performance of the team and delivering the People Strategy which underpins the Transforming for Growth business strategy.  

Key Requirements 

  • 10 + years’ leading Change Management, Communications and Leadership Development.  

  • Demonstrated successful change leadership experience on large scale transformation /change programmes. 

  • Strong relationship building skills, with the ability to quickly interpret key stakeholders’ requirements and convert them into achievable and timely solutions. 

  • Highly collaborative outlook, with the innate skills to bring people on a change journey.  

  • Enjoys problem solving and is comfortable dealing with challenges which require cross-functional collaboration and influencing. 

  • Expert communicator and Leadership Facilitator, with the ability to deliver customised, focused messaging and development solutions to all levels of the organisation.  

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently. 

  • Flexibility to travel as required to Ornua locations.
