The Group is structured across two divisions: Ornua Foods and Ornua Ingredients.

Ornua Foods is responsible for the marketing and sales of Ornua’s consumer brands including Kerrygold, Dubliner, Pilgrims Choice, Kerrygold, Avantage, Forto, and BEO.  Markets are served by production facilities and in-market sales and marketing teams in Africa, Asia, Germany, Ireland, the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East, and the US.

Ornua Ingredients is responsible for the procurement of Irish and non-Irish dairy products and for the sale of dairy ingredients to food manufacturing and foodservice customers across the world.  Ornua Ingredients is also responsible for managing volatility through de-risking and trading strategies. The business is supported by production facilities in Saudi Arabia, Spain, the UK, the US and by in-market teams in Africa and the Middle East.

Dynamic Working

  • Ownership and governance of our HR Information Systems, completing monthly audits and analysis of the systems  

  • Troubleshoot and analyze issues to determine resolution with support from our vendor 

  • Run and circulate monthly reports to the business from Peopledoc and Success Factors where required 

  • Compile monthly HR KPI’s for Executive team 

  • Manage the relationship with our vendor on open items and improvement projects 

  • Participates in data review, auditing and user acceptance testing of new processes, procedures and system changes as needed 

  • Administer Annual Pay and Performance review processes  

  • Administer Time off accounts annually 

  • Contributes to the People Services team, displaying a strong ability to problem solve and train/coach team members on a variety of associated lifecycle data management transactions and administrative tasks. 

  • Collaborates with the global HR team on module changes in Success Factors 

  • Enables process alignment to global processes, covering change management & communication activities, stabilizing new ways of working, driving efficiency and process improvement 

  • Assist with adhoc tasks, HR initiatives and projects as required 

  • Create slide decks to present projects and data to Senior Management 

  • Represent and espouse Ornua’s values at every opportunity, with all stakeholders 


Key competencies   

  • Human Resources / Business Qualification: 3rd level qualification or equivalent experience 

  • Previous experience working with Success Factors HRIS 

  • Excellent customer service, time management and communication skills  

  • Previous experience with a ticketing/case management system 

  • Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills 

  • High personal integrity required in handling confidential information 

  • Highly proficient and competent user in Microsoft Office applications 

  • Flexible team player, with a passion and drive for HR and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
