Ornua Foods is responsible for the marketing and sales of Ornua’s consumer brands including Kerrygold, Dubliner, Pilgrims Choice, Forto and BEO. Markets are served by production facilities and in-market sales and marketing teams in Africa, Asia, Germany, Ireland, the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East and the US.

 

Ornua Ingredients is responsible for the procurement of Irish and non-Irish dairy products and for the sale of dairy ingredients to food manufacturing and foodservice customers across the world. Ornua Ingredients is also responsible for managing volatility through de-risking and trading strategies. The business is supported by production facilities in Saudi Arabia, Spain, the UK, the US and by in-market teams in Africa and the Middle East.

 

 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

 

  • Contributes to the People Services team, displaying a strong ability to problem solve on a variety of associate lifecycle data management transactions and administrative tasks.
  • Responding to and resolving HR enquiries from employees, managers and HR colleagues in a timely manner utilizing knowledge base and case management tool- (Peopledoc) in accordance with our SLA’s
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Specialist with interview scheduling, requisition creation, phone screening, etc
  • Complete transactional HR processes and data updates using Success factors HRIS system and Peopledoc CRM
  • Processing of invoices through the system, creating PO’s and receipting invoices
  • Serves as primary support and coach for employees and managers with Employee
  • Participates in data review, auditing and user acceptance testing of new processes, procedures and system changes as needed.
  • Assist onboarding administration, generate contracts, schedule induction, pre-employment checking
  • Maintaining/archiving electronic and physical personnel records in accordance with record retention policies.
  • Assist with Adhoc tasks, HR initiatives and projects as required

Key requirements

 

  • Human Resources / Business Qualification: 3rd level qualification or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years years previous experience in HR/TA administration or shared services
  • Preferred SAP Success Factors experience 
  • Excellent customer service, time management and communication skills 
  • High personal integrity required in handling confidential information
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Highly proficient and competent user in Microsoft Office applications, MS Windows. 
  • Flexible team player, with a passion and drive for HR and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
