WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE 

 

Ornua is seeking an experienced HR Analytics Lead to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive 360-degree employee view across the employee life cycle, leveraging HR analytics to drive data-driven insights and decisions.

    

The role will require a self-starter to drive their own agenda and work independently with HR and Business colleagues across the Group to add value to the business with key people insights and automated reporting. 

  

This is a fantastic next step for an Analytics professional looking to bring their expertise to an organisation that is in the early stages of building HR Analytics capability. 

 

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: 

 

  • Define and communicate the vision and strategy for HR analytics solutions.
  • Prioritise product features and enhancements based on business needs and stakeholder feedback.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and continuous improvement.
  • Create new data models, KPIs, dashboards and reporting solutions to help stakeholders answer critical people questions related to their business areas.  
  • Focus on data extraction to support talent attraction, employee retention, succession planning, performance, headcount and skills requirements and associated costs.  
  • Identify trends and patterns to proactively address workforce challenges
  • Partner with HR and business colleagues across Ornua, to identify analytics opportunities and advise on best practices relating to people data. 
  • Automate manual tasks by querying our databases and Success Factors technology, creating pipelines to expose data directly in dashboards. 
  • Communicate data insights and recommendations to non-HR audiences through clear writing, visual tools (e.g.: dashboards, scorecards), and story-telling. 
  • Work to upskill HR colleagues and to share data analytics expertise as relevant.  

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS: 

 

  • Proven experience in product management, HR analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience in Data Mining, Predictive Analytics, Statistics, Data Governance and Ethics
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to initiate projects and drive them to completion without guidance
  • A strong problem-solver and critical thinker
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to bring complex data to life for an audience
