The Group is structured across two divisions: Ornua Foods and Ornua Ingredients.

 

Ornua Foods is responsible for the marketing and sales of Ornua's consumer brands including Kerrygold, Dubliner, Pilgrims Choice, Forto and BEO. Markets are served by production facilities and in-market sales and marketing teams in Africa, Asia, Germany, Ireland, the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East and the US.


Ornua Ingredients is responsible for the procurement of Irish and non-Irish dairy products and for the sale of dairy ingredients to food manufacturing and foodservice customers across the world. Ornua Ingredients is also responsible for managing volatility through de-risking and trading strategies. The business is supported by production facilities in Saudi Arabia, Spain, the UK, the US and by in-market teams in Africa and the Middle East.

The Role

The role of CRM Product Owner is a 12 month fixed term contract and will be a key role in enabling a successful design, testing and ultimately implementation of Project Evolve, Ornua’s global transformation programme.  The successful candidate will be responsible for delivery of a new CRM system that meets the need of the business and is adopted by business users.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

 

  • Define business requirements - define scope and prioritise business requirements within Budget
  • Work closely with the technology and delivery implementation partner as the main Ornua point of contact to develop the solution and share best practice
  • Undertake the role of Product Owner
  • Manage project stage including Discovery, Design Sprints, Testing, Deployment, Hypercare and Business as usual (BAU)
  • Manage stakeholders from across the business to ensure that the global system meets business needs
  • Agree deployment plan with implementation partner and business stakeholders
  • Develop training material and support training initiatives
  • Work with local teams to assess business readiness and lead change management in each site in advance of deployment
  • Assess and measure business benefits of system implementation
  • Work closely with technical team to define and implement new functionality and improvements
  • Lead monthly BAU forum calls
  • Ensure CRM adoption principles and goals are being met by providing ongoing support to site leadership teams and monitor adoption dashboards
  • Ensure the system design meets the Evolve business design principles and aligns to programme timelines, ways of working and budget

 

 

Key Skills / Attributes:

  • 5+ years experience
  • Bachelors degree in Business or a related field is required.
  • Highly solution driven with very strong problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver clear and concise information to a wide audience
  • Ability to take ownership of complex process areas and execute process improvements 
  • Highly flexible, resilient and a proven ability to adapt to rapidly changing environment
  • Experience managing multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong strategic mind-set with the ability to articulate a credible vision
  • Highly driven and motivated, and works well on own initiative
  • Ability to work cohesively and productively across multi-functional teams

  • Experience in CRM implementation projects desirable
