WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE

 

This role will work as part of the Commercial team in Ireland, responsible for supporting that team to execute our growth plans with our Key Customer Accounts. It will report to the Senior Account Manager

 

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

  • On-going support for the National Account Managers by managing commercial administration including, new line forms, promotional proposals, sales reporting and ad hoc requests
  • In conjunction with National Account Managers deliver forecasts by sku by customer to build a total periodic sales plan
  • Owning specific elements of tracking and reporting on performance metrics
  • Liaising with Marketing to align on brand plans in terms of activations with customers
  • Working with field sales team to deliver best in class execution and reporting on KPI’s  
  • Help create and input into presentations in customer meetings.
  • Using customer reporting data input into category management team to help deliver shared insights which supports value added decision making
  • Work cross functionally with the supply chain, marketing, finance and innovation teams  to deliver business KPIs.
  • Work closely with your National Account Manager and support the execution of our annual sales plan.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Ambitious and looking to build a career in sales and broader commercial space
  • Bachelor's degree in a business/food business or related food science discipline.
  • Have excellent numerical and organisational skills.
  • Clear communicator with strong persuasive and presentation capabilities.
  • Be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A quick learner in getting to grips with reporting systems and lots of data
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where not everything is perfect
  • Passionate about providing exceptional customer experiences and comfortable communicating directly with them when the need arises
  • Creative, resourceful, and detail-oriented
  • A team player with high integrity and drive to have a positive impact
  • Some experience of working in a supporting administration role within a broader commercial context or ideally having worked with retailers.
